DURRA Fire rated doors are manufactured as per the international standard well equipped carpentry work shop of ICC. A standard fire door have been tested under BS 476 part 2-2 at Singapore SUD UVD laboratory. The door sash is made combined with DURRA hard core and class I timber.
• Door frame is made with 100mmx60mm hard wood timber.
• Intumescent strip (20mmx2mm) has been installed around the door sash as the smoke barrier.
• Fire rating of the door will be varied from 1 to 2 hour as per the requirement.
Any opening cut into a fire door introduce a potential weakness, great care has to be taken to ensure that all vision panels are installed correctly with correct fittings and with minimum area required. Recommended 150 x 600 (mm). Different types and sizes of vision panels offer a varying level of fire performance. These must adequately meet or exceed the fire performance promise of the surrounding door materials. Through vision panel of 150 x 600 (mm) is provided for fire door so that smoke or flames may be seen and collision avoided. This is provided at 1350 mm from bottom of the door to permit visibility by smaller persons or wheel chair users from either side of the door.
